友人の債務の物上保証人 (担保提供分だけの保証人) になった。しかし友人は返済不能に。ところが、突然送られてきた書類では、「物上保証人」の「物上」の部分が二重線で消され、「連帯保証人」と書き換えられていた。二重線の上には債権者である金融機関の判が押され、余白に押してあった捨印部分には「修正に同意する」と何者かの書き込みがあった。裁判で「書き込みなど一連の行為は金融機関側が勝手にしたもの」と主張したが通らなかった。
